I've just had an accident, what should I do first?
Don't get caught out after an accident.
If you're at the scene:
What is Accident Support and how do claims work?
Accident Support is here to help you handle those tricky moments right after an accident, before you even file an insurance claim. We’ll guide you through the process and support you every step. If you do make a claim, our Recovery and Repair service can be part of it, whether you continue with us or go through your insurer
Can I choose which Approved Body Repair Centre fixes my car?
Absolutely. If you have a preferred Suzuki Approved Body Repair Centre, just let us know. If your car can’t be driven and needs urgent recovery, we’ll recommend the best option for you.
Do I need to involve my own insurance company?
If the accident wasn’t your fault, you often don’t need to involve your insurer. Through Suzuki Accident Management, we can manage the entire claim and liaising with insurance for you—taking care of all the back-and-forth with the at-fault party’s insurer so you don’t have to.
What am I eligible for if I’m at fault?
Even if you’re at fault, we can still help with recovery, expert repairs, a replacement vehicle, legal support, and assistance with claims. Our aim is to keep things simple, minimise disruption, and get you back on the road quickly.
Will I receive a replacement vehicle whilst my Suzuki is being repaired?
Yes, we’ll do our best to get you into a similar vehicle to the one you were driving, so you can carry on as normal with minimal disruption.

Accident recovery is provided for unroadworthy vehicles only. If you cancel the recovery of your vehicle, any cancellation charges incurred will be at your cost. Your vehicle will be recovered to a Suzuki Approved Body Repair centre in working hours or to a secure storage facility of our choosing for safe keeping. Recovery is subject to you being comprehensively insured and your vehicle can be recovered to a Suzuki Approved Bodyshop or to a secure storage facility of our choosing for safe keeping.
If you are deemed not to be liable for the accident, the reimbursement of the cost of recovery will be sought from the liable party or their insurer, if you are deemed to be at fault for the accident, the cost of recovery will be sought from your insurer. If we are unable to recover the costs incurred from your insurer, we reserve the right to seek recovery from you.
Following an accident, we can arrange for you and your passengers to be taken home or to an address of your choice (including a railway station or such like for onward travel) where such home or address is within a 20 mile radius of the incident site.
A replacement vehicle is provided subject to availability for accident repairs (excluding standalone glass repairs/replacements) carried out by a Suzuki Approved Body Repair centre. The bodyshop will provide a courtesy car for the period of the repair if the incident is your fault, or if the incident is not your fault, we will aim to provide a hire car of a similar standing to your own vehicle.
Some insurers may charge an additional excess for using our repairers.
