Another strong score for Suzuki in the latest What Car ? Reliability Survey
Suzuki once again achieves a high ranking in the What Car? Reliability Survey for 2025 published today with a brand score of 95.7%, placing it just 0.9% behind the overall winner. The long-established reliability survey is carried out annually and What Car? measures the experiences from owners of vehicles up to five years old. In the latest survey, over 32,000 What Car? readers responded from across 30 manufacturers and 227 different models.
The good news continued for the brand with three Suzuki models ranking high in their respective classes. Vitara (2015- present) scored well in the small SUV category attaining a score of 95.4% with the Swift model (2017-2024) following close behind with a score of 95.9%. S-Cross (2021-present) also scored well at 93.5%.
Claire Evans, consumer editor of What Car? comments: “Suzuki is a consistently high scorer in the What Car? Reliability Survey. It has gained a spot in the top five manufacturers for the past five consecutive years, demonstrating the long-term durability of its models and the level of care offered by its dealerships. This year it covered the cost of 88% of fault repairs for cars measured up to five years old and its dealers fixed 42% of faults in a day or less.
Suzuki owners have much further peace of mind too and way past the five-year ownership mark with up to 10 years warranty offered free of charge. Extended from seven years to 10 earlier this year, Suzuki’s warranty is activated by the customer once their car reaches the end of its manufacturer warranty period of three years / 60,000 miles and is booked in for its annual service within the Suzuki Dealer network.
The new e Vitara model also has up to 10 years EV battery warranty included with eight years manufacturer followed by a further two which are service activated.
The warranty stays in place until the next qualifying service and is simply renewed again up to a maximum vehicle age of 10 years / 100,000 miles. Major components are covered and should a customer decide to sell their car between services and within the 10-year qualifying period, the warranty can simply be transferred to the next owner – again free of charge.

Following its success in 2020 and 2021, the Suzuki Ignis Hybrid compact SUV has again been awarded a ‘Best Buy’ at the 2022 What Car? Awards held in London on 20th January. Ignis was comprehensively judged by the editorial team and announced as the best value overall small SUV model.
Commenting at the awards, Steve Huntingford, Editor of What Car? said If you want a car with a high driving position but low costs, nothing does it quite like the Ignis. Not only does it offer bargain pricing, but its mild hybrid petrol engine positively sips fuel; indeed, it delivers the best rural and motorway economy of anything we've ever put through our real-world True MPG test with figures of 74.8mpg and 53.3mpg respectively. As a bonus, the Ignis really embraces the 'small' in 'small SUV', making it a doddle to park and manoeuvre, yet it's surprisingly spacious inside, comfortably accommodating four adults”.
Ignis also won the long established magazine’s True Mpg award in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
2021 proved to be a year not to be forgotten. On the heels of being rated high by autotrader for our customer service, we have only now gone and won Retailer of the Year, beating over 13,000 other dealers. Additionally we were runner up in both the Customer Choice Award and the Customer Experience Award. A fantastic achievement by the whole team.
Our customers have voted and we have been rated highly for our customer service in a poll conducted by Autotrader, the UK's largest used car portal. Great work from all the team and many thanks to all our customers that rated us.
