We’re also helping more customers help themselves online, whenever it suits them. And we’re creating excellent content to draw them in, www.anthonybetts.co.uk is our portal (as well as our online shop-front) so it’s got to uphold our values, be appealing, useful and interesting.We keep it that way by showcasing the latest vehicles, specifications, images, videos, and current offers to visitors.
The role in a nutshell
You’ll have a great opportunity to make a huge impact on Anthony Betts marketing and social media presence by supporting our marketing calendar and working closely with our key partner Suzuki.It’s important that you use your creativity and innovation to create unique, targeted content that our audience will find engaging, interesting and captivating, whilst promoting the full new and used vehicle portfolio, servicing, and parts.
You’ll be an individual who is great with people, able to form relationships across the business, and will need to keep up to date with the latest industry news and activity. You’ll also be experienced and passionate about social media and digital marketing, whilst being commercially and results driven. The autonomy you'll have in this role will allow you creative control over our social media therefore, it’s important you are a proactive self-starter,with a proven track record in digital marketing!
What will you be doing?
Product marketing - You will be tasked with marketing and maintaining our new and used vehicle portfolio from several manufacturers, ensuring the latest vehicles are listed on our website in line with the in-house style, and all associated assets are linked to them.You will also review the existing vehicle listings, optimising them where applicable, as well as identifying opportunities to promote them.There will be several marketing channels available to you, from email and SMS, to product placement and press advertising. You’ll also be required to align our marketing with Suzuki’s national marketing.
Social Media – You’ll manage the social media channels - planning, curating and creating content. Creativity is essential. You’ll create content and copy from scratch that resonates with customers and drives engagement and positive sentiment.You'll also have access to new and exciting content from Suzuki marketing to support your goals.
Analytics – It's important for us to promote and understand the value social media offers. You’ll review the performance of our marketing activity using social media listening and analytics tools. This will also create a platform for you to identify themes and opportunities,as well as to support content and campaigns based on performance.
What will you be good at/need?
Passionate about social media and digital marketing.
Excellent creative copywriting skills.
Excellent command of the English language and grammar.
A good understanding of Photoshop and MS Office.
Proactive work ethic to start new initiatives and deliver them to successful outcomes.
Organised approach with meticulous attention to detail.
An understanding of automotive industry, though not essential.
Full driving licence with no more than 3 points.
