MG Motor proudly announced the international launch of the all new MG6 on 23 November 2009.

The launch took place at the Guangzhou Auto show in China and is the beginning of an exciting new global future for the MG brand. The launch in China, the world’s largest automotive market began the international roll out of sales of MG6 which includes the UK. Sales in China will begin in January and the UK will follow later in March 2011.

It was also announced that production of MG6 for the China market will begin at the brand new state of the art factory in Lingang, China in December 2009, with production of MG6 at the Birmingham plant, starting in the UK in 2010.

The world famous MG brand has never had such a bright future as it starts to expand global sales with an exciting new range of products.

About the MG6

MG6 S

The range will start with the 'S' model at £15,495 which includes ABS brakes with EBD, Alarm, Front and Side Airbags, 17" Alloys, Sports Seats, one press engine start button, rear ISOFIX anchorage, Air Conditioning, Radio CD with USB and AUX input.

MG6 SE

Next in the range is the SE at £16,995. In addition to the S Model it features rear parking sensors, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring and In Car Entertainment System featuring Radio, CD, MP3, USB, AUX input plus Satellite Navigation System

MG6 TSE

The top of the range 'TSE' model is just £18,995 and has all the above features plus 18" Alloy Wheels, reverse parking camera and sensors, leather sports seats, Electric front seats, Dual Zone Ar Conditioning, Electric rear windows, bluetooth and full colour satellite navigation.

The MG6 is an all new model that has been designed and engineered here in the UK, for the global automotive market. A sporting five seat fastback model, designed to capture the character of the MG brand and bring something different to the volume market. All initial models with featured a 1.8 turbo 160ps petrol engine.
